Use who, when, and where only when they affect pressure, intimacy, risk, knowledge, or action.

Ask why this person, why today, why it cannot wait, and why the event belongs in the story.

What deeper drive organizes the larger story?

Look beneath the visible vehicle. Money may mean power, safety, freedom, respect, or control.

What do you need from this person?

Make it simple, direct, personally invested, and possible to get or fail to get.

What does success or failure cost?

Name the consequence. Do not turn it into an instruction to push emotion.

Obstacles

What specifically makes the objective difficult?

Look for external, internal, environmental, physical, and social resistance supported by the scene.

Conflict

Where does the objective collide with resistance?

What does the other person need, why does your approach fail on them, and what forces you to adjust?
