The Master: Level 1
The Master: Level 1
The Master is a place to prepare text, make choices, work with a scene partner, receive direction, and return to the scene with more clarity. Level 1 builds that foundation over six weeks.

What the six weeks cover.
The published class description moves through script analysis and story comprehension, memorization methods, character work, emotional truth, and presence in the moment.
Actors are paired with a scene partner and assigned material to work on. The class culminates in a First Pass, a live presentation for invited peers and industry professionals.
The work is practical.
- Script analysis and story comprehension
- Memorization methods and preparation
- Character work and emotional truth
- Scene-partner work and responsiveness
- A First Pass live presentation at the end of the class
Who is it for?
The current booking page lists The Master: Level 1 for all skill levels. That tells you who may enter the room. It does not tell you whether this is the right class for your immediate need.
If you want a place to deepen scene preparation, practise with another actor, and return to material after feedback, keep reading. If you need a single audition solved this week, a six-week class may not be the most direct route.
